Lipogems are a safe and effective treatment option for orthopedic conditions and are FDA-cleared with many clinical studies.
Under local anesthesia, lipogems treatment is typically not painful. In a minimally invasive and immediate procedure, the physician will make a tiny puncture through your skin and collect a small amount of fat from either your midsection or “love handles.” You may experience mild to moderate swelling at the injection site.
